I have a Jenaye's Junque class coming up on Saturday, February 11th from 12:30-3:00 at ETC.
You can sign up over the phone by calling 480-854-2303 or by signing up online here, which will save you 10%. :)
We will be making the three flowers pictured below: In addition, I will be bringing my stash of Glimmer Mist so you can spray the white flower with a mist if your heart desires!
If you can't tell, my favorite color is teal. Well, my fabulous mother bought me this totally killer teal window for Christmas! {What a find!}
After drooling over the window for a few days, I finally figured out what I wanted to do with it. Here is the result:
I incorporated two different fabrics that I tied together, twine, rhinestone beads, tulle, and lace to create the strand that the pictures hang from. I loved incorporating the "dirty" and "pretty" materials together on the chipped wooden frame. :)
I saw an adorable wreath on the front cover of a magazine about a month ago and I really wanted to make one of my own!
It was made using cute paper straws that come in stripes, stars, polka dots, etc.
After I made two wreaths, I thought others would love to make them as well. So... I made wreath kits and will be selling them at ETC. as of tomorrow! I have a grey and black kit or a red and black kit available. :)
Some other great ways to use the wreath:
1. As a clock.
2. As a mirror.
3. As a picture frame.
Hope you enjoyed this cute twist on a wreath as much as I did!
While I was working at Etc. over my Christmas break from school, a customer told me that she was decorating her resolutions for the new year so that she would like to look at them throughout the year. I thought this was a fabulous idea! So thank you, cute customer, for your creativity!
This is the New Year's resolutions board that I made:
I hope all of you are keeping your resolutions so far!
I will be teaching Jenaye's Junque thisSaturday, September 24th from 10:30-1:00 at Scrapbooks, Etc.
We will be creating three flowers, which are pictured below!
{I have to give a shout out to Amanda Herring from The Quilted Fish, who generously donated this amazing fabric that she designed! It is from her new fabric line "Delighted". Isn't it stinkin' cute?? Thanks Amanda!}
You can sign up online at Scrapbooks, Etc. or by phone at 480.854.2303.
It's hard to believe that the very last Creative Escape has come and gone.
This last event was the most memorable yet and I am so thankful to have been a part of it.
:)
The teachers were talented, the attendees were fun and creative, and the volunteers were amazing.
Thank you to everybody who made this event so special for me!
As a teacher at CE this year, several students and volunteers went above and beyond and showered me with gifts!
{P.S. Very thoughtful}
I just wanted to post pictures of the fabulous gifts I received and say thank you to all of the incredible girls who took the time to make something for me!
I hope you all enjoyed "Just Junque" and I can't wait to see all of the creative things you girls come up with.
Keep practicing those flowers and you will be a pro in
no time.
One last thing...
For those of you who didn't believe me when I said my cute man Justin sewed some flowers for me, here is a photo of him I took a few months ago.
{Shh... he doesn't know I took it!!}
:)
I cannot believe that Creative Escape is less than ONE week away!!
I am very excited to be team-teaching a class with my mom this year and I'm eager to meet all of the creative girls (and guys) attending the event.
:)
I will be selling my 'junque' at the on-site Scrapbooks, Etc. store during the event. There will be a lot of cute and fun things, so be sure to check it out!
